On Friday, March 13, 2020, the United States shut down as the spiking global pandemic made it’s way to us.
Our company was working furiously to be sure that our clients’ communications were taken care of, but we immediately developed a digital platform for all small business owners to openly communicate with their customers.
“Go to the side door for pick-up…”
“We are only open for a few hours…, We need to close because someone has Covid…, We have curbside pick-up!…”
We realized that small businesses were very quickly being left behind and were about to move through years of rebuilding, if they made it through.
Meanwhile…..
The “big box” stores and that Amazonian online marketplace continued to
watch profits surge, reaping record levels of growth!
Amazon was marketing to small businesses, getting them online, and then capturing their market share by creating their own brand for the products that were selling well! This strategy has put many small business owners out of business.
